I know I keep blogging about this but one of my favourite add-ins is a favourite because the developer, Martin, is just so fantastic about getting updates out. Updates are important particularly with a service like iPlayer where the BBC is pushing the boundaries and updating frequently.
Martin’s just TunerFree MCE updated to version 1.9.3 which includes access to the live feeds for BBC One and Two – now that’s not that important in a Media Center where we have tuners, but if you happen to be using it on a system with no tuner…well it’s a pretty big bonus!

Today the BBC updated iPlayer again to add in live feeds for BBC One and BBC Two. Unfortunately when they did that, they also played about with other things and broke TunerFree MCE’s program list. Fortunately I have produced a new version (1.9.3) which has been updated for the new BBC formats, and which includes the new live streams. Unfortunately the new streams need a mouse click to make them play, but at least it works!
