Microsoft have launched a new site called UltimatePC.com that seems to be a new marketing site for Vista and tries to show off Ultimate PC setups. Whether this has anything to do with the missing Ultimate Extras I  don’t know. But what I did find looking around the site is Derek Flickinger’s “Ultimate Home Theater Setup” blueprint. This shows off how Media Center in the heart of a home theater setup with a Flash diagram highlighting the components (why use flash, why not use Silverlight?)

You can download the blueprint and product list as a PDF (the products featured are pretty high end and based around Niveus kit) and you can download a Getting Setup and Workflow PDFs

There are also sections for Photography and Gaming with Home Office and Home Audio coming soon, it’s nice idea just a bit marketing centric for now but it’s worth looking at Derek’s bluerpint
