Microsoft have released KB5004071 for Windows Insider on the dev channel taking the build to 21390.1000. The update does not contain any new features and is designed for Microsoft to test the servicing pipeline. For the next few weeks Microsoft are releasing cumulative update for build 21390 so they can test multiple cumulative update, that means no build updates for a few weeks. This would tie into Microsoft’s announcement of the next version of Windows coming June 24th and them keeping all the changes under wraps for now.

We have been testing our servicing pipeline with Cumulative Updates to the builds released to the Dev Channel. Each week, we would release a new build and then follow up with a Cumulative Update on top of that build before moving to the next build. However, we need to test the process of releasing multiple Cumulative Updates on top of each other on top of the same build. As a result of this, over the course of the next several weeks, our focus will be on releasing multiple Cumulative Updates on top of Build 21390.
