I don’t know about you, but I never have enough USB 3.0 ports on my laptop. By the time I have plugged in external drives, USB audio interfaces, synthesisers and midi controls I am left swapping things in and out all the time. USB hubs are a good solution, but I have been daisy chaining them and end up with things being disconnect. To solve this problem, I have picked up a ORICA 10 port USB 3.0 hub.

The hub has an aluminium hosting that feels solid and well made. There are blue indicator LEDs for power and to show when a port is active. It’s a powered hub and comes with at power supply and USB host cable. Each port can deliver 5v at 1.5A so enough power multiple external drives. There are no drivers needed and everything worked straight out of the box.
