Microsoft introduces the Surface Laptop Go and updated Surface Pro X

Surface Laptop Go

Microsoft have launched a new lower cost Surface Laptop and an updated Surface Pro X. The Surface Laptop Go has a 12.4 inch PixelSense touch display and starts at £549, which gets you a 10th gen Intel Core i5 processor and 4GB with 64GB eMMC storage. For £699 you get 8GB RAM and 128GB SSD, and £899 gets you 8GB and 256GB SSD.

Microsoft have make some comprises to get to the price points. There is no Windows Hello, there is a finger print reader instead (expect on the £549 version). The display is 1536 x 1024 which is lower than original Surface Go’s 1800 x 1200. It has a USB-C and a USB-A port as well as the standard Surface charger port.

It comes in Blue, Sandstone and Platinum.

Surface Pro X

Microsoft have updated the Surface Pro X with a new Microsoft SQ2 processor and a new Platinum finish. Starting at £1549 the new Pro X is available to pre-order now.
