Yesterday Microsoft released the Windows 10 May 2020 Update (20H1) to the Release Preview ring in preparation for the general release to Windows users. If you are a Windows Insiders using Windows Mixed Reality you may want to wait to install the update. In the announcement Microsoft point out that Windows Mixed Reality may not work correctly in the May 2020 Update and they expect to have a fix in early May. I don’t have details on what issue is yet, my WMR test rig is currently on the Fast Ring and I haven’t come across any major issues.

The May 2020 Update introduces some new features for Windows Mixed Reality with improved settings, new keyboard and sounds.
