Acer announced its brand new Windows Mixed Reality headset back in August last year at IFA Berlin. It has a detachable design, built in audio and adjustable IPD and two 2.89 inch displays running at 2880 x 1440 with a 100 degree field of view.

Despite the headset being announced last year the device has not been on sale up until recently. I have been regularly checking to see I the headset was available but hadn’t bother to check for the last few months. Amazon UK have it as being available since the end of September and they are available now for £395.24. It is also available on Acer’s web site for £399.99. The headset is aimed at commercial customers with its removable front panel.
