Microsoft’s Windows Mixed Reality Portal adds support for OpenXR

Last month Microsoft announced support for OpenXR the open API standard for mixed reality, and with the latest update to the Mixed Reality portal Microsoft had enabled OpenXR. You need the latest Windows 10 upate (1903) to get the update.

OpenXR isn’t a new engine but rather a cross platform set of APIs that enable developers to create mixed reality experiences that can run on a wide range of platforms. You can find out more about OpenXR with Microsoft’s getting started guide.
