Korg have finally updated their USB-MIDI driver adding support for the 1903 / Windows 10 May 2019 Update. A bug with the Korg drivers and the May update prevented Korg keyboards and synth from working with Windows 10 with the only way to fix it was a dive into the registry (see my guide).

Korg’s new update officially supports 1903 both 32bit and 64bit version.

  1. I installed their driver – from July 2019. It didn’t work. The microkey did not appear between 1-9 either. Although the “configure korg MIDI..” showed it on port 1, the Uninstall utility didn’t. What I then had to do was go into Windows Devices – Sound and game controllers, and notice that I had a MIDI application for routing MIDI external to my DAW. I disabled this. Then I Uninstalled and re-installed the driver. And it worked.
