Chrome Canary adds support for Windows Mixed Reality

The Chromium team have added support for Windows Mixed Reality in the latest Chrome development branch. There is now a toggle for Windows Mixed Reality support in the latest Chrome Canary build.

The flag is: “If enabled, Chrome will use Windows Mixed Reality devices for VR (supported only on Windows 10 or later). – Windows”

With the flag enabled, you should be able to use browse WebVR sites with Chrome and then view the sites in Windows Mixed Reality. We do not know when this feature will hit the release version of Chrome but it’s good to see Windows Mixed Reality support being added to Chrome.
