Windows Mixed Reality has seen another usage boost on SteamVR in August. Microsoft’s Windows Mixed Reality accounted for 7.18% usage on SteamVR in August up from 6.25%.

SteamVR’s survey does not include Windows Mixed Reality games played directly for the native Cliff House or Skyloft but it does give an indication on how games are using the various headsets. Over the last few months, Microsoft and Steam have improved the integration of the system with the ability for Windows Insiders to launch SteamVR games and app directly from Windows Mixed Reality. This feature will be coming to all Windows users with the October 2018 Windows 10 Update (Redstone 5).
