Microsoft have posted details of the Cortana powered Harman Kardon Invoke speaker due for release later this year. The premium speaker is controlled by Cortana so you can play music, manage your calendar, check traffic and has get the latest news. It also has Skype integration so you can make Skype calls directly from the speaker. Microsoft also say that you will be able to control smart home devices from the speaker. I expect at Microsoft’s Build event they will talk about smart home integration with Cortana.
The speaker is due “fall 2017” and sadly will be US only.
