My Lumia 950 XL on the fast ring has just picked up an interestingly named update. The updates is labelled “April 2017 Update for Windows 10 Version 10.0.15063.138 for arm-based Phone Devices” which is a different way of describing an update. Really it’s just a cumulative update for the Windows 10 Mobile Creators Update build 10563 which is rolling out to a limited set of devices April 25th.
I wonder if this means there is a X64 based phone device in the works or just a mistake in the naming? Despite the interesting name it is a minor update and I suspect without any changes. No details from Microsoft on what is included in the update.
