Last week Microsoft released a cumulative update for Windows 10 that failed to install on my Windows devices. The update fails to install, rolls back and then as is the way with Windows Update it repeatedly tries to re-install the update causing considerable frustration.
Microsoft have released a small fix for the problem which removes a couple of registry settings that were blocking the update install. The update is available from Microsoft and comes in at a tiny 52KB.
Microsoft say the problem only affected Windows Insiders that switched back to the current branch.
