Today is the 4th anniversary of the original Raspberry Pi and today the foundation have launched a new Raspberry Pi 3 that would be ideal for Windows 10 IoT projects. The new Pi has a 64 bit quad-core AMD processor, integrated 802.11n wireless LAN and Bluetooth 4.1. The new board cost £30 and will run Linux or Windows 10 IoT apps, it would make an ideal media player running Kodi or a custom Windows app. Having built in Wifi and Bluetooth opens up a lots of opportunities.

The Raspberry Pi foundation say the new Pi has about 10x the performance of the original Raspberry Pi.
