Microsoft promised us a faster release cadence and they have delivered that with another build of Windows 10 just under a week since the last release. With faster release comes less new features between builds and in case there are no new features but lots of fixes including:
This release fixes app crashes causes by memory issues so things like the Git client should now work.
The Connect button is back in Action Center
F12 Developer Tools are back in Microsoft Edge
DPI issues have been fixed, so the desktop icons no longer get messed up when you switch DPI settings
Just showing that you should be careful which devices you use when testing out Windows 10 one of the know issues is that the PC Recovery tool no longer works and puts Windows in a an “unusable state” which there is no work around. So don’t try a recovery until the next PC build.
Other issues include a WSClient.dll error after logging in (see Microsoft’s notes for a fix), the front-facing camera is unusable on PCs with Intel RealSense so no Windows Hello and Airplane mode may show as on after start up even when it isn’t on (toggling it on/off fixes it).
