BBC iPlayer for iOS and Android adds your BBC Store purchased content

Last month the BBC launched a new BBC Store for purchasing BBC TV shows and films. At the launch they released a new BBC Store app for Windows but up to now they haven’t released app for other platforms. What the BBC have done for iOS and Android users is added the ability to play purchased content from the BBC Store in the updated iPlayer app.

The iOS, Apple TV and Android version have a Purchased section where you can view your content. You can find the app in the Google Play Store and iTunes.

What’s New in Version 4.14.0

On top of the usual bug fixes you mean? Well…

The new “Purchases” section in “My Programmes” is the place to find and stream things you’ve bought from BBC Store.

You can also sign in to get personalised recommendations across the app, based on things you’ve already watched.
