I am a big fan of wireless charging, you just put your phone down on the pad and there is no fiddling with MicroUSB cables, it just charges. The Choetech charging pad I am reviewing in this video has rubber on one side that stops it slipping on the desk and a rubber ring on the top to stop the phone moving around. The charger used the Qi standard so it works with devices like the Nexus 5, Nexus 6 and the Lumia 1520. The good thing about this pad is that you can place the phone at any angle and it will charge which some Qi charging kits can’t do.
When charging the device glows to show its working and a nice touch is that the glow dims when the lights are off so if you are using it on your bed side table it doesn’t fill the room full of light while you are trying to sleep.
