Acer have announced a coupe Windows 10 based laptops aimed at taking on Chromebooks. Starting at £179.99 the Aspire One Cloudbook 11 is has an Intel Celeron mobile processor, 2GB of RAM and 16/32GB eMMC storage with an 11″ display running at 1366×768. Very low specs but with 1 year of Office 365 Personal they are reasonably priced compared to a Chromebook and as they are running Windows 10 you could install anything you like on it (as long as it can fit on a 16GB drive). There is also going to be a 14 inch version is priced at £199.99 with 32/64GB options and both models will be available in October.

16GB is not very much space on a Windows 10 machine, even with a compressed Windows image. However an update to Windows 10 coming later this year should give you the option to install Windows apps on an SD card so by the time the Cloudbooks launch the small space may not be as much of a problem.
