The BBC have released an all new version of the BBC iPlayer Radio app for iPhones and iPads. The first change is that the app now properly supports the iPad so no need to use the x2 button on the larger device. The other changes include the ability to download radio programmes to your device for offline playback, there is a new menu system and better playback controls.
Now how about a universal app platform version for Windows?
The new BBC iPlayer Radio app for iPhone and iPad is here at last, with new features that let you download whole programmes as well as podcasts. So you can enjoy even more of BBC Radio when you’re offline.
It’s also easier to control playback and find your way around with the new menu, which is also home to a helpful info button.
