This week Microsoft announced it was rebranding Xbox Music to Groove and overnight they have updated the Windows 10 music app with the new name and a couple of other tweaks. The updated app is now labelled Groove Music, even though Microsoft says it’s just “Groove” (they say it’s to help with the transition).
There UI changes seem to be a transparent now playing bar at the bottom of the screen and the “coming soon” labels on Radio and Explore sections on the mobile version of the app have been removed, in fact the Radio and Explorer sections have been completed removed. Hopefully they will return at some point.
