If you want to store your loyalty cards on your phone and then show them on the Microsoft Band as a barcode there is the new app called Band Wallet app. You enter the barcode on your phone (or via the camera) and then you can show the barcodes on the Band. You can store multiple cards in the apps and it supports Code39 and Pdf417 barcodes type. The app is free from the Windows Phone Store.

The Microsoft Band has many sensors into and if you want your Microsoft Band to remind you to keep active there is Get Steppin! For Band. This app gives your hourly notifications of steps you need to take by breaking up your total step requirements into manageable chunks. The app costs 79p from the Windows Phone Store.

If you want a reminder that you have been sitting for too long you should checkout Band Break, it’s a simple app that reminds you on the Band when it’s time to move. The app is free from the Windows Phone Store.

Torch for Band a handy app for the band if you need a torch in an emergency has been updated and now has colour selections. Another free app from the Windows Phone Store.
