Microsoft show off new Windows 10 features at Build, new Insiders build coming today

During a very long keynote today at Build Microsoft showed off some new Windows 10 features and which you can watch via the Build keynote or checkout Microsoft highlight videos they have posted on Youtube showing off the new features.

The new browser which was code named Project Spartan now has an official name: Microsoft Edge. In previous build I found the browser very buggy but recent releases have been much better. I like the new start tab, I can’t wait to try it out.

Continuum for Phones looks great for projecting your phone up to the TV and using it as a PC:

For developers there was a lot of information to take in! Developers can now easily port Android and iOS app to Windows with the new SDK, I won’t go in to that here but you can read more about that on the Windows blog.

The good news is there is a new build on the way to try out, on the blog post Microsoft say it will be available later today, probably early morning tomorrow in the UK.

I haven’t even talked about HoloLens, as it did last time the demo was amazing and I can’t wait to get hold of one. Watch the whole event on demand at Microsoft.com.
