The Media Browser development team are back with a new beta and some great new features. Version 3.0.5518 beta has a refreshed server management interface that is easy to use and an improved mobile UI. Also added is a new feature called Media Browser AnyTime the feature currently works with Windows 8.1 with mobile support coming soon. The idea behind this feature is that you can take your media browser content with you on the go and then have the device sync with the server. There are new sync buttons than enable you to sync collections like categories or playlists onto your mobile device and you have control over the sync options like quality levels, the number of items synced and the ability to monitor folders and automatically add new content. It’s a great feature and will be great when it rolls out to mobile devices, you won’t have to worry about manually copying over content. You even have full control over which users can sync content and what kind of content they can sync.

Other changes include subtitle encoding improvements, Roku thumbnails, improved web search and a new download button. There are a lot of improvements in the beta which you can read more about on the Media Browser community site.
