I have to admit I am a bit of a fan of BBC iPlayer Radio, I love listening to the old comedy shows like the Goon Show and Hancock’s Half Hour while out walking and iPlayer Radio enables you to stream radio shows from all the BBC radio stations.

The iOS app has been updated and now has an episode count on radio programmes you favourite so you can see how many episodes available to listen to. The app is still only for the iPhone so you are going to have to use the x2 button on an iPad.

The app is free from the iTunes store.

What’s New in Version 1.6.4

We’ve added a count of available episodes next to each of your favourite programmes. You can find this in the Favourites section of the app.

  1. Ah! The good old ‘episode count’. I love it! I just wish the TV bods would use it a bit more as when I have several episodes of a series recorded, sometimes in in mixture of HD, SD and Catch-Up, it is difficult to see which in order to watch them. So well done BBC R&D!
