Today Microsoft launched the new Digital TV Tuner for the Xbox One. UK, France, Germany, Italy and Spain users will be able to watch free to air TV (Freeview HD in the UK) on their Xbox One. So you can watch BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and other HD channels on the Xbox by connecting an aerial up to the adapter. There is integration with TV Listings via OneGuide. You can pause, rewind and fast forward Live TV plus you can stream TV to a device running SmartGlass. You will also be able to snap TV to the right and continue playing games.
There are currently no recording options but you have to think that will be coming soon.
The Xbox One Digital T Tuner costs £24.99 from the Microsoft Store and I have one on order so look out for a review soon.
