The Xbox Music team have updated the Windows 8.1 version of the app with a few tweaks that improve the usability of the music app. When you buy an album or a song you now get a confirmation messages so you know the purchase was successful, when a playlist hits a track that is unavailable it quickly skips the track and there is an updated look and feel to the notification banners. The app also has improved performance, reduced playback errors and other minor bugs fixed.
All the changes add up to a better experience for music playback. You can find the app in the Windows Store.
