Last month Amazon announced the Amazon Fire its first smartphone and it’s safe to say it hasn’t exactly set the US market on fire (get it!). Today Amazon have announced the phone is available in the UK for the first time. The handset will be free with a two year £33 per month O2 contract and for that you also get a year’s Amazon Prime membership.

The phone has Dynamic Perspective, Amazon’s tilt perspective UI and Firefly technology which enables scanning of a product barcode and it taking you to Amazon’s listing. Full information over at Amazon, I really can’t see to many people get excited over the phone.
