When the Xbox One launched last year US users got the great OneGuide a combined EPG app which brings in guide data and can control your set top box. Here in the UK we didn’t get the TV features but that is set to change in the next couple of months when the OneGuide comes to Europe. Xbox One users on the preview program can try out OneGuide and have it link up with a set to box.
In this video I connect up my Sky+ box and take a look at OneGuide. I also tested out the new Xbox SmartGlass Beta app for Android that enables you to browse OneGuide from your phone. I should also say that it is not just Sky+ boxes that it can control, as you will see in the video there are a selection of devices it supports.
