There are lots of clients for the Media Browser including Windows Phone, Android, Media Center, iOS and now you can try Media Browser on a Samsung Smart TV. A developer on the Media Browser forums has created a TV app for Samsung Smart TVs that will enable you to watch TV and movies on your Samsung TV from your Media Browser Server. It’s very early days for the app at the moment, there are no music or 3D features but if you have a Samsung Smart TV it may be worth giving a try.

As you can see from the screenshots the app looks really nice. You can browse media folders, view movies and TV shows with all their metadata artwork and playback the content (including MKV format videos). You have to jump through a couple of hoops to get it installed but the developer has documented all the steps and of course you will need a Media Browser server setup on your home network.

Head over to this forum post for the install instructions.
