Media Browser for Windows 8.1 updated

There is a new version of the Windows 8.1 Media Browser app in the Windows Store. The updated app takes advantage of the new DLNA Play To features of the Media Browser server with a new simplified Play To UI. There is now an alternative music user interface, improved streaming and transcoding and support for music/movie genres.

The app is designed to work with the Media Browser server and you can stream content from the server and use it as a remote control for other Media Browser servers. The app costs £3.19 from the Windows Store and you can find the Media Browser server


This update include:
Improved Streaming and transcoding
Simplified UI for PlayTo
Improved UI for auido and subtitle selection
Alternative UI for music (Option in settings)
Support for Audio and Video genres
Lots of minor improvements
