The My Movies team have released a new build of My Movies for Windows (which will replace My Movies for Windows Media Center and various My Movies Server products). Pre-release 4 of the app no long needs to have the same username/password combination on client and server machines and sets Windows Defender and Essentials Security not to scan the My Movies storage folder. Plus there are also lots of bug fixes in the build.

If you are testing My Movies 5 you will want to create a backup database before install this new build. Download links and more info over at MyMovies.dk.
