Skype have added a new picture in picture feature to the Android version of Skype. The feature overlays a small thumbnail of the video call in the top left of the screen while you are using another app, very handy if you want to continue chatting while browsing the web or reading your email. I found that it would only work on my Nexus 7 and didn’t have the option on a Nexus 5 so it may be limited to devices with 7 inch or larger screens.
Also in the update are improvements to the video quality and performance improvements in the app. You can find the app in the Google Play Store.
