Google have updated the Android Google Play Books apps adding PDF and EPUB support. You can now upload PDFs or EPUB to Google’s book app via the downloads app on an Android device or via Google Play Books website. It’s a pretty good way of reading PDF files on an Android device but there is no syncing of read pages like there is with Amazon’s Kindle app.
