Twonky Beam on iOS

Twonky have updated the iOS version of the Twonky Beam app. The update address an issues accessing DTCP content that was inaccessible after the last update. Any DTCP content downloaded to version 3.5.0 of the app will require re-downloading.

Twonky Beam is an app than enables beaming of content from the web, tablet or phone to a DLNA/UPnP devices on your network. So you could pick a YouTube video or a video stored on your tablet and beam it to a DLNA device or an Apple TV. The app is free in the iTunes Store.

 

What’s New in Version 3.5.1

• Restores access to downloaded DTCP content that was accessible before the 3.5.0 update and became inaccessible in 3.5.0.
• Fixes access to DTCP content for users who experienced DTCP errors.
• Note that DTCP content that was downloaded with 3.5.0 will not be compatible with 3.5.1. Users who still need to access this content after the update should re-download the content after updating to 3.5.1.
