Microsoft have reviled the first wave of entertainments apps coming to the Xbox One on its release. The apps include Netflix and LoveFilm as well as UK TV providers 4oD and Demand 5 but missing from the list is BBC iPlayer and ITV, Sky have NOW TV but not a Sky Go app. What we still don’t really know is how the OneGuide EPG will work with the Xbox One having a HDMI pass through, whether we will be able to control Sky+ or Freeview boxes remains to be seen.
