YouTube on iPad

Google have released new versions of the iOS and Android version of the YouTube app. Both the Android and the iOS versions of the app now have the ability to watch a video and then leave it playing in a small windows while browsing YouTube.

The iPad, iPhone and Android versions now work in both orientations as well as having gesture control. The UI of the updated app looks much more like other Google apps on iOS and both apps have very similar look and feel.

The iOS version is available from the iTunes Store and the Android version is available Google Play.
