Sky have launch a cheap set top box for their NOW TV pay as you go TV service. The box which is available from today at nowTV.com is a small Apple TV sized box that wirelessly streams content from BBC iPlayer, Demand 5, Sky News, BBC News and NOW TV.

NOW TV gives you access to much of Sky’s content without the need of a contract (price for Sky Sports start at £9.99 per day). As well as the TV and movie content there are Spotify, Facebook and Flickr apps.

NOW TV is already available for PC,Mac, iOS, Xbox, PS3, YouView and Roku boxes so whether we need another set top box depends if you are a big NOW TV users.
