Acer have launched a new Ultrabook which is very Surface looking. The P3 has a sliding keyboard to go with its 11.6 inch screen, 60GB or 120GB SSD storage, i3 or i5 processors and up to 6 hours battery running Windows 8. The P3 is on sale now priced at £599 which could be around the same price (but probably at bit less) than the Surface Pro. It looks like a nicely designed PC and it’s great to have more design options available.

Weighing only 1.39 kg(2) and measuring 19.75 mm thin, the newly defined mobile PC delivers on the promise of Ultrabooks with excellent performance and long battery life in a highly portable form factor. The Acer Aspire P3 provides true Ultrabook performance, so customers can use it as their main PC for handling everything from everyday computing tasks to more demanding ones such as creating presentations and sharing multimedia content.
