FireCore the company behind the ATVFlash addin for the Apple TV have launched their first iOS app. The app called Infuse is designed to negate transcoding files as it will play multiple video formats like AVI, MKV, WMV and Windows Media Center TV files (WTV) as well as the standard formats iOS supports. The app also has library features and it downloads metadata for the videos on the device.

There is also TV show recommendations using the trakt service where it keeps a track of TV shows you have watched and then will recommend show for you to watch.

The app works on the iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch and costs £2.99 from the iTunes app store.
