BBC News app for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch has been updated. Version 2.0.1 for iOS has minor improvements to the UI like a fix for accidental video playback, a news category and the app refreshes when your resume it from the background.
Thanks for your feedback. Issues fixed in this release include:
– Videos no longer play by accident if you swipe on them
– Video player now ignores mute switch (standard video player behaviour)
– Also In The News category is back
– App refreshes when it returns from background
– Scroll to top of story by tapping on clock
– Carousels reset to the start on app refresh
