Today was the press day for The Gadget Show Live 2013 which opens to the public tomorrow (3rd April). This year the event was sponsored by Microsoft so for the first time Microsoft have a stand which features the range of Windows devices including tablets, desktop and all in ones. Plus they had Windows Phone 8 devices from HTC and Nokia.
It’s was good to see Microsoft were explaining how Microsoft devices connect together with Xbox, Windows Phone and Windows 8 being shown working together. Here are some of photos I took today:
There was a large range of PCs from Dell, HP, Acer, Toshiba and Lenovo.
Windows Phones were on show
There were plenty of Surface RTs on show but no news on when the Surface Pro will arrive in the UK. I asked and was told no information to share yet.
HP had the HP Envy x2 hybrid PC
Connected Entertainment, showing Windows Phone and Xbox working together.
I was digitised by Microsoft using Kinect Studio for Windows
Toshiba had a new widescreen notebook which was great for playing movies.
There was lots of convertible notebooks
..
Acers W510 looked a great lightweight tablet with attachable keyboard.
Microsoft’s stand is the biggest stand at the show
Artist using the Surface RT to create works of art.
Looking forward to going 🙂

@isdixon That’s a real shame. Guess we won’t hear a thing until Build now? That white touch cover looks nice/new?
