Tesco have launched a TV and movie streaming service for Tesco Club Card members called ClubCard TV. Using your Clubcard number you can create an account and then have free access to a selection of movies and TV shows using Blinkbox (which Tesco owns).
The movies are ad supported, there are pre-roll ads and in the couple of movies I tested there were 5 sets of ads during the film but the content is free. The streaming is web based using Silverlight and will work on a Mac or PC. The quality of content isn’t going to have LoveFilm or Netflix worried (yet) but with Tesco’s brand behind the service it does have a lot of potential.
