While I have been at CES there have been plenty of apps updates, here are a few of the interesting ones:

ITV Player for iOS has a new look, it’s been refreshed with the new ITV logo but basically has the same features as the previous version with on demand TV shows and live stream of ITV and ITV2. The app is free from iTunes.

Sky have added Barclays Premier League Match Centre to the Sky Sport app for the iPad:

Features within the new Premier League Football Match Centre area of the app include:

• Average Formation Maps: Football fans can now to follow all the action via Average Formation Maps, which provides more in-depth team data that marks on a pitch where players have been and isolate key formations at crucial moments during a match.
• Player Touch Maps: Fans can now see all of the touches that every player has made in the live match, as well as from the previous six fixtures.
• Team form: Team line-ups and mapped formations means fans themselves can analyse how squad selections affect team results, and are keep up to date with how their team has been playing over the season.
• Sky Bet is now integrated to the app providing bets, at the foot of articles that are contextual to the story giving a quick and easy way to stake your bet.

The app is free if from iTunes but you need a Sky account

Cloud file store system Dropbox has been updated to version 2.0.2, no major changes just bug fixes and performance fixes. Both the iOS version and the Android version have been updated.

eBay for iPad has been updated. 2.2.0 has lots of changes:

– Sorting by “most bid” enabled when filtered to auction-style items only

☂ Squashed bugs:

– Tapping an item loads the “first” search result instead of the desired item

– “Black screen” appearing when loading a Saved search

– eBay notifications appearing after logging out

– More information for buyers if P&P hasn’t been specified for their destination

– Distance sort measured in miles, not kilometres in the UK

– P&P displayed incorrectly for some international buyers
