Microsoft’s Surface form factor make it an ideal for watching TV on with the built in kick-stand and detachable keyboard but you can’t install a TV tuner or Windows Media Center in Windows RT. All is not lost however as there are other options. In this video I have a look at the different ways you can watch TV on the Surface including apps like TunerFree, TVCatchup and DVBLink.
Once you get these apps and services installed the Surface is a great device for watching TV. The tips in this video also work with Windows 8 and Windows RT.
