The XBMC team have released beta 2 of XBMC 12 Frodo. This new version includes support for Android so you can run XBMC on modern Android devices (it has to support NEON extension), there is a compatibility list showing which devices are supported on xbmc.org. To install it all you need to do is download the apk file from xbmc.org. Unfortunately it seems that XBMC doesn’t work on Android 4.2 at the moment so we are going to have to wait for beta 3 before it will work on devices like the Nexus 7. I tested it on my Galaxy Note and it seemed to work ok, it did crash a few times but it’s early days for XBMC on Android.

Also in this build is support for the Xbox 360 controller and audio fixes.
