Microsoft have release a fairly large (102mb) cumulative update for Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012, the update is for the RTM version and Microsoft say that these port-RTM updates will improve the Windows 8 experience in time for general availability of Windows 8 later this month.

The update includes power efficiencies to improve battery life, improved Windows 8 apps and Start screen, improved audio and video playback and improved driver compatibly.

Update KB2756872 will come down automatically via Windows Update. Details from the Building Windows 8 blog:
