The BBC have took the wraps off there latest web development. BBC iPlayer Radio is BBC iPlayer dedicated to radio content stripping out video from standard iPlayer service.
The new web based version has been launched today along with a iOS version (which will be in the app store some time today which is available here) with an Android coming soon. The iPhone app will have a radio tuning dial and an alarm clock feature so you can wake up your favourite show.
Here are some of the features of the iOS version:

– Spin through the touchscreen dial and listen live to the whole range
of BBC Radio stations
– Swipe to reveal on-demand catch-up content and videos on every station
page
– Set programme reminders to ensure you never miss favourite shows
