Android Amazon Kindle app adds Kindle Format 8 support and Send-to-Kindle

Amazon have updated the Android Kindle app (the iOS version was also updated today) which adds support for Kindle Format 8 and a large selection of illustrated children’s books. According to Amazon they have also added Send-to-Kinde where you can email documents to your Kindle account and view them on Kindle devices, to be honest I thought you could do that already I have used it with an actual Kindle device in the past.

You can get the app from Google Play
