Microsoft have started rolling out an update for Windows Phone that is said to includes a fix for the disappearing keyboard issue. There is also a fix for synching with Gmail and a privacy issues.
It solves a problem of the keyboard on the screen, preventing the keyboard to disappear while typing

It solves a problem of access to the location.
